Summary/Abstract: It is a known fact that many types of crimes faced by security forces today are committed with computer and internet facilities. A person who wants to rob a bank can now rob a bank without acquiring tools such as weapons or masks. A bank can incur millions of TL in a very short time via computers and the internet. Especially in crimes committed for profit, criminals benefit from the opportunities provided by information systems at the highest level. Forensic Informatics is the whole of the evidence examination process that provides an understandable proof of digital evidence on various types of digital media without destroying the integrity of the crime, by using scientific methods to reveal the crime. Information systems are used in the processing of all other types of crimes, as well as being a tool in the processing of computer crimes. Many types of crimes such as insult, obscenity, bribery, fraud, gambling, drug smuggling, terrorist propaganda can also be committed through information systems. In parallel with the rapid development of technology, electronic devices such as computers, mobile phones, memory cards, CDs, DVDs, which have become an indispensable part of our lives, have also become tools in the commission of many crimes. Parallel to the widespread use of technological opportunities, there is a serious change in the phenomenon of crime all over the world. In this direction, it has been necessary for our security forces to develop new methods for combating and illuminating crime. With this study, from organized crime types; In this study, evaluations were made by emphasizing the economic reflections of cybercrimes and the practices of combating cybercrimes. These evaluations have been prepared based on the information and documents obtained from the Ministry of Interior General Directorate of Security, based on the data of 2007-2011 about IT crimes in Turkey.
