Summary/Abstract: The text is exploring, with some details, several topics directly connected to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the U.S. military forces. The text offers some data concerning the pace of the pandemic within the ranks of the U.S. military forces of all sorts. Some consequences of the pandemic are explored as well – for example, different types of activities, including major international military exercises, have been delayed or even postponed. Some activities of the U.S. armed forces in actively coping with the pandemic are explored as well (help offered, in different ways, to non-military authorities and local communities, vaccination program, increased protection of military forces, etc.). In the end, as far as we can understand, the high-level resilience of the military forces prevailed, on most occasions we know about, and in the opening stages of 2021, a quite significant part of the massive shock generated by the pandemic in its early stages has broadly been coped with
