The digitalization in enforcement – Quo vadis?

Summary/Abstract: Despite all the uncertainties, hesitations and fears (in some places), digitalization is advancing more and more in the justice segment. Recently, at a large scale event organized by the UIHJ in conjunction with the Council of Europe, a bailiff presented a robot working in his office, opening, sorting, distributing incoming mail to the office, as well as packing, sorting and sending it from office as well as other administrative work. The bailiff was very optimistic about such an "employee", noting that the efficiency of his work is higher than that of a few human employees, the robot having a work schedule even at night.
