Summary/Abstract: Mentoring is the way in which the mentor participates in the formation of the student and the young beginner through a special relationship, built on trust and mutual respect. Mentoring based on an interpersonal relationship between student and mentor. The mentor has the role of guiding, orienting,motivating the student to achieve his/her proposed objectives throughout his/her university training. The mentor's opinions are based on research,being an expert in his field of professional activity, he offers experiments and experiences gained in his artistic career. Communication is an interactive process between mentor and student, based on empathy. Motivation is ensured by the determination of inner power through enthusiasm, ambition, courage,desire. A student motivated by a proposed goal will devote a lot of time to study. The mentor helps the student not to get discouraged when things are not going well and gives him advice, teaching him how to deal with difficult situations, trying to develop a sense of competition in study groups, through encouragement, praise and recognition of success.
