The Police in the public system

Summary/Abstract: The development of the police system presupposes the development of a theory that reflects the state of law enforcement research by the police and, on the other hand, shows the direction in which this research should develop. In the last century, there have been nine theories that reflect the understanding of the role of the police in society. These theories not only show the different opinions on how the police perceive themselves and how they are perceived by society, but also emphasize the need to develop and create a universally valid police science.
