Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to analyze the use of youtube language learning videos on language teaching and learning. Techniques used by youtube language learning videos include repetition drills, listening to a teacher, and learning a foreign language in your sleep, through binaural beats, which create a frequency that helps you relax like in meditation and absorb new information. An article from Independent, June 30 2014, written by James Vincent, confirms that we actually learn new information while asleep. How does this have an impact on classroom activity? In what ways should teachers change their foreign language teaching methodology?
