Summary/Abstract: The article is about the translatability of the prefixoide Heiden-, part of many augmentative formations of the German present language. The positive and pejorative meanings that the reinforcement is expressed vary depending on the context and the speaker's intention. The analysis of the Romanian linguistic valences is carried out taking into account the following criteria: morphological, stylistic, semantic, pragmatic and syntactic and shows lexical meanings in the Romanian press language. Synthetic vs Analytical are the poles of the proposed elativic meanings of the German augmentative formations mentioned in the article.
