Summary/Abstract: Based on the terminology used in Law no. 182/2002 on the protection of classified information, which should be uniform, firstly in order to avoid any interpretative nuances, and secondly for the sake of unity of terminology, if certain terms used create ambiguity – and here I am referring to the categories of persons who are not subject to security checks by virtue of their position, I consider that clarification from the issuer of the law, i.e. the Romanian Parliament, either through an amendment to the text in force or through an interpretative rule that could shed light on the text, would be welcome.
