Summary/Abstract: Student mobility is one of the most important pillars of internationalization. In this study, after gaining their independence, the internationalization process of higher education of Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan is discussed within the scope of student mobility. Presenting student mobility between Turkey and the Turkic Republics has become an even more important issue with the increase in the impact of non-Western alternatives for student mobility. In this research, dimensions of international student mobility between these nations and Turkey are discussed in terms of national and international data on international students. Although the numbers of international students coming from the Turkic Republics to Turkey are relatively high, mobility between Turkic Republics and mobility from Turkey to Turkic Republics don't exhibit the same trend. The processes for the development of mechanisms that will increase this mobility among Turkic states gain more importance both in the internationalization of these countries and in getting close to communities of the same historical origin.
