Summary/Abstract: Big Russian population was living in Sarajevo between two world wars. Many of them were well educated and willing to preserve their tradition in new environment. However, proposed solutions were not always acceptable for them and their neighbors. Certain Serbian institutions in Sarajevo were not ready to help this Russian community in Sarajevo to leave clear traces of their existence in that area.
