Summary/Abstract: The author discusses Hanna Krall’s reportage in the light of its presence in the school didactics of the Polish language (removal from the reading list, its return, presence in the matura exam sheets). She considers a power of the book: it is one of the few readings that activates students emergence. With this on mind she also points to the paths that can be taken during Polish language classes in a secondary school.
