Summary/Abstract: As generation training process, education is guided for two permanent references that can be applied by every generation. On the one hand, we have the cultural-historical inheritance, inheritance that generates the so-called historical identity, and, on the other hand, we have the expectations of the new generation regarding the role played in the context of European and world wide civilization. In this article, we will try to portray briefly the education needs in the current Romanian society.
