Summary/Abstract: Apart from presenting the content of a specific school subject, a textbook as a book used to teach a school subject, by all means attracts attention with its language characteristics too. Given that a choice of language tools is often critical for the understanding of some problem arising during teaching, and that each scientific field has its language peculiarities, as well as that one needs to achieve the norm of the language in which the textbook was written in, the significance of linguistic features of a textbook is indisputable. Due to that, this piece of work 637is focused on linguistic features of math textbooks for classroom teaching of nine-year elementary schooling which carry out the curriculum in Bosnian language.
