ORPHEUS AND THE WAYS OF OBLIVION

Summary/Abstract: The study aim to offer a possible analyze of the orfic myth, using the instruments of Jungian archetipology, from the perspective of oblivion. I used three possible approaches: the oblivion as sacificium animae, as compensatory sacrifice and as katarsis. The main hypothesis is that the reality of the myth is defined through the feeling of the alive text and nouminos as it has been defined by Rudolf Otto.
