Summary/Abstract: The article provides a comparative analysis of the main approaches to the study of the cognitive process of culture-historical reality. The problem of thematic patterns’ identification and study in the context of structural and paradigmatic approach are considered. The given patterns lie at the root of the integral thematic structures of consciousness. They develop during the process of intellectual mastery of cultural and historical reality.
