Summary/Abstract: The article presents the contents of the Jubilee volume dedicated to the 110 years of the “Oriental Collections” Department at the “St. St. Cyril and Methodius” National Library of Bulgaria. An Introduction reveals in details the different funds and collections of the department and accents to the contribution of its first leaders to their scientific treatment. The First part of the volume consists of 12 articles in various topics based mainly on the archival documents and manuscripts in Arabic, Ottoman Turkish and Persian language preserved in “Oriental collections” Department. The Second part includes bibliography of 1392 scientific publications related to the funds of the department. The volume contains also Nominal index of authors and Geographical index. Some photos reveal moments from the life of the collaborators of the Oriental department.
