Summary/Abstract: Business language became a separate research object due to the development of functional stylistics. But the term “business language” is still discussed by the linguists, because it is generally referred to different types of texts that are built in different languages in a variety of ways, specified by national and cultural particular qualities and traditions. But in the situation of translating and comparative analysis of two business languages, Russian and Swedish in particular, the most important thing is that they have similar features, determined by their function and a high degree of regularity and idiomaticity of their structure, which allows us to call them languages for official and business communication.
