Summary/Abstract: Both countries, according to their interest, were changing their ideological approach, taking a more pragmatic attitude. This led to the Brioni agreement between Tito and Willy Brandt, which eventually gave solution for the indemnity of the victims of nazi persecution. How-ever, Broz had never explained real nature of the agreement to the peoples of Yugoslavia, thus making a basis for building of a political myth.
