Summary/Abstract: The study is out to give an insight on how effectively risk management can be put in place in Nigeria banking industry and how various risks associated with Nigeria banks’ performances can be reduced by adhering to the sustainable banking principle that promotes effective risk management in Nigerian banks. Survey research design was used. The population of the study is 19,982 members of staff that are in all the Access Bank branches across Nigeria. The officers that are needed for this research are management staff, risk officers, sustainability officers and accountants.
