Summary/Abstract: This article examines the effectiveness of the coaching approach in the social and pedagogical work with children at risk. Coaching can be an effective means of supporting disadvantaged children by helping them to develop their skills, self-esteem, and motivation. Specific examples of its application are presented, as well as evidence of the successful outcome. The challenges that may arise when applying the coaching approach in working with children at risk are analyzed, and ways to overcome them are proposed.
