Summary/Abstract: From the very beginning, the synodality of the Church shows the community of faith as one pilgrim people, in which every person has their place and also a responsibility for the Church. In modern times, the practice of the Church places great emphasis on the involvement of the lay faithful in the care of the Church and, through legislation, also enables them to participate in Church authority. The Second Synod of the Koszalin-Kolobrzeg (Kołobrzeg) Diocese was an expression of shared responsibility and a manifestation of synodality at the particular level.
