Summary/Abstract: In this study, it is aimed to determine the financial risk levels of the sub-sectors under the manufacturing industry, which is the most important sector of the Turkish economy, using Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) methods. For this purpose, the CRITIC Based PROMETHEE II Method has been developed. The developed model has been applied to 9 sub-sectors of the manufacturing industry. According to the literature review, 12 financial ratios were determined as the data set and were taken from the Data Analysis Platform (VAP) database. From this database, 5-year sector average data of financial ratios for the years 2016-2020 were obtained. As a result of the study, it has been seen that the "Other Manufacturing" sector has the lowest financial risk, and the "Basic Metal Industry" has the highest financial risk. It has been concluded that significant financial risks related to subsectors may arise from the management of short-term debts, management of business assets or profitability. It has been concluded that there are significant differences between the risk levels of sub-sectors, therefore financial risks should be evaluated separately on the basis of sub-sectors.
