SINGLE WINDOW ENVIROMENT IN CUSTOMS

Summary/Abstract: Customs modernization is a complex and high priority task for effective customs control worldwide. The Single Window initiative is a part of the process of facilitating trade relationships, which is the main task and objective of customs, especially with regard to import. Its effective implementation is not isolated and requires the involvement and coordination of all elements of the customs modernization system. The aim of this article is to present the specifics and development of the Single Window Facility in customs control. The object of research is the impact of the Single Window initiative on customs modernization. In the study have been used the descriptive - analytical approach, the methods of comparison, analysis and synthesis.
