Summary/Abstract: Drowning and heatstroke in vehicles, which result in death, whether fatal or permanent damage to the body, are a global and complex problem that must be investigated, and with the aim of preventing such occurrences, work on promoting awareness of the risks that lead to to drowning or thermal shock in vehicles. Along with the awareness of risks, it is necessary to work on the readiness of emergency services and other citizens to properly recognize, react and provide first aid to victims. With these goals in Požega, in 2022, the Požega 2022 drowning and heat stroke protection and rescue exercises were carried out. shocks carried out by the emergency services from the city of Požega with the aim of checking coordination with each other, timely and accurate reactions to the risks of drowning and heatstroke, and raising the level of awareness among citizens about these dangers and education about ways to provide first aid. The paper presents the environment at the place of the activity as an important factor in the prevention of all risks that appear during the tourist season, and defines heat stroke and drowning, and states how to provide first aid. In the last part of the paper, preventive recommendations for future tourist seasons are given, but they can be useful for other tourist attractions of this type.
