Summary/Abstract: The digital age has created the possibility for many employees to perform work anytime and anywhere, which gives them both advantages and disadvantages.One of the disadvantages of working remotely is that the employee is always connected, which can have a negative impact on their fundamental rights.The right to disconnect implies the employee's right not to perform activities or to engage in communications through digital tools outside of work hours.By regulating the right to disconnect, a balance between professional and private life is ensured, the employee is protected from possible repercussions from the employer for disconnection.
