Summary/Abstract: Born in 1942 in Bucharest, Gabriéla Meltnescu is now based in Sweden. She published several volumes of poetry in Romania, including Ceremonie de iarnà (Winter Ceremony) 1965, Interiorul legii (The Interior of the Law) 1968, Boala de origine divinà (Illness of divine origin) 1970, as well as a remarkable children's book: Bobinocarii (1969).
