Summary/Abstract: The Ljubljana-Hague Convention on International Cooperation in the Investigation of Genocide, Crimes against Humanity, War Crimes and Other International Crimes is a practical instrument intended to enable States Parties to fulfil their international obligations and to improve their national judicial system and criminalization mechanism and extradition, in a way that would facilitate better practical cooperation between states investigating and prosecuting these crimes, but also removing conditions that could make it difficult to hold people accountable for the most serious crimes at national level. It complements the already existing international legal framework and visibly emphasizes a practical vision of cooperation aimed at bringing more efficiency to the investigation of international crimes.
