Summary/Abstract: The old press gives us countless examples of young people who tried to leave the Black Sea with simple or improvised boats. Without the necessary preparation, they sought to cross the sea to rush to other countries, where they wanted to settle. Some of them managed to reach Istanbul, others were saved from dangerous storms, and others died in their attempt. The attraction of the sea proves to be irresistible, especially for young people.
