Summary/Abstract: The author stresses the actuality of faith in contemporaneity, trying to reveal its universal significance. Faith also represents as a method of spiritual cognition that opens human being’s essence as a result of transcending to transcendent reality. The metaphysics of faith is regarded as a specific kind of spiritual self-cognition focused on and realized through the concept of transcendent that appeared in “Axial Age”. The process of spiritual cognition means, from this point of view, unfolding of human being essence and appearing of humanity's archetype that formulates by different languages, symbols and notions.
