Summary/Abstract: The article presents Michał Głowiński’s interests in aphorisms. His sketches on the work of Stanisław Jerzy Lec are also recalled. Using Głowiński’s theory, the author of the paper presents an interpretation of one of the aphorisms from the collection Myśli nieuczesane (Unkempt Thougths): Przy pożarze Getta upiekło wielu swoją własną pieczeń.
