Summary/Abstract: Infertility has always been a challenge for scientists, who tried to find some ways, to give to those who wanted children, what they can not fulfill naturally. The problem of assisted procreation must be seen in a double perspective: the tradition of the Church and the particular circumstances of a couple. In vitro fertilization, in moral point of view, can not be accepted if there are created embryos that they will be destroyed or used in the medical experiments or commercial exploitation. The author of this article describes the issues of this topics showing which is the position and the foundations of the Church when deciding on bioethical issues of the beginning of life.
