Summary/Abstract: This text focuses on five hoards of Roman coins discovered in the vicinity of Kalisz in the 19th and 20th centuries. It mainly presents of the history of discoveries and the subsequent fate of the treasures, which in most cases were dispersed and found their way to Russia, Germany or the United States. Only a few artefacts from the deposits described in the article are currently available and are in the Poland Museums in, i.e. a silver clasp from Zagórzyn in MOZK or a few coins from the hoard from Prażuch and Zagórzyn in Łódź and Warsaw.
