Summary/Abstract: The aim of the study is to present the results of empirical and qualitative research on didactic innovations resulting from the creative didactic work of Polish academic teachers. The research was carried out in accordance with the theoretical and methodological concept of ESA Howard E. Gruber. The research used multiple case studies with vertical and horizontal analysis, semi-structured interviews and photo analysis of classes conducted by innovators. At the stage of analysis and interpretation of the obtained research results, the model of Interpretive Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) was used. The conducted research allowed to determine the specificity and properties of didactic innovations proposed by the surveyed teachers-innovators.
