Summary/Abstract: The "Romanian International Red Aid" was created in 1924 in Bucharest, with the help of the communist party, being constituted in the form of an "illegal single-front independent and non- party" organization.” The organizational base of the "Red Aid" was the cell. The actions of "Red Aid" aimed at initiating protest campaigns in factories, in unions, at meetings; the organization of meetings, conferences, etc., in favor of political prisoners, of protest demonstrations with delegations of workers at newspapers, at democratic associations, at the human rights league; coordination of propaganda and agitations through humanitarian actions: collection of clothes, money, food, books, intended for political prisoners. The propaganda centers of the "Red Aid" were active at the European level in terms of disinformation, spreading tendentious articles in the public space. The Romanian authorities also monitor the actions of the "Red Aid" committees.
