Summary/Abstract: This article explores the issue of demographic policy in People’s Republic of China in the context of social security. The article attempts to assess the impact of the demographic problems of the PRC on the social security of its citizens. The analysis is intended to answer the questions: whether and how reforms related to China’s demographic policies have affected the level of social security in the country.
