Summary/Abstract: The Romanian armed forces have always contributed to the achievement of national ideals. The Romanian military forces have continually fulfilled their duties to promote the interests of the nation also by consolidating the relations between the country and its citizens in the diaspora. An example in this regard is Vasile Stoica, key figure in the accomplishment of the Great Unification, a patriot who succeeded in bringing together the Romanian diaspora in the USA in support of the Romanian people cause and the establishment of Greater Romania. Mention should be made that the Romanian military forces have always been present not only on the visible but also on the invisible intelligence – front to promote the national interests.
