Summary/Abstract: The glottis papillomatosis is a benign type of tumour with a high potential for recurrence, extension and malignant degeneration, being the most common location of the disease at the level of the airways. The authors would like to share their experience of the preoperative management considering the clinical and paraclinical data, while at the same time evaluating the benefits of laser surgery and the postoperative follow-up with an immediate surgical approach to the first lesions to appear following surgery, the so-called “one step ahead of the tumour” approach.
