Summary/Abstract: Ewing’s sarcoma is a malignant tumour related to peripheral primitive neuroectodermal tumours. They share the same genetic alteration and response to chemotherapy. The standard treatment for Ewing’s sarcoma is multimodal and it consists of surgery for the local control of the disease, multi-agent chemotherapy and radiotherapy. This type of management has proved its efficacy and improved the five- year survival rate of patients with Ewing’s sarcoma and peripheral primitive neuroectodermal tumours in military personnel.
