Summary/Abstract: In 1904, in the United States of America, it was established one of the first national structures having radio communications regulatory responsibilities, Roosevelt Board, as a federal institution. It resolved all the problems related to radio communications, providing the coastal radio service that received any call from the vessels offshore. In 1906, in Berlin, 27 countries, including Romania, signed the first fundamental documents regulating radio communications – International Radio Telegraph Convention, Final Protocol and Service Regulations, as an annex to the Convention.
