Summary/Abstract: The author presents different types of evaluation as well as some tools and resources for both trainers and trainees evaluation. Among them, investigation, project and portfolio are mentioned. Investigation provides the trainee with the opportunity to apply the acquired knowledge creatively, in new and different situations. Project is an active and participatory evaluation method. Portfolio is a complex evaluation tool that enables the trainer to assess the progress made by the trainee in terms of knowledge, skills and behaviour.
