Summary/Abstract: This study presents the legal provisions related to the procedure of boundary demarcations adopted by the Organic Regulation, which was adopted and applied in Wallachia starting in 1831. The study briefly outlines the historical context in which new regulations were conceived and introduced. The legal analysis of the new legislative provisions, with examples, aims to clarify how the provisions of previous customs, codes and laws are integrated and adapted to the new historical context. This article highlights the importance of the scientific and technical innovations imported into Wallachia during this period, especially the new units of measurement and instruments used in boundary demarcations. The Organic Regulation, with its norms regarding the application of provisions related to boundary demarcations, reinforces the obligatory nature of cadastral records. The cadastre becomes a unified system through its application across the entire territory of Wallachia and through the use of the same rules. instruments and units of measurement for carrying out topographical mappings.
