Summary/Abstract: Divorce is one of the most pressing issues in contemporary society. According to a number of studies, the number of divorces is dramatically increasing every year, and this has a significant impact on the mental state of not only adults but also children. Divorce is experienced as a traumatic event identical to the loss of a partner in death.
