Summary/Abstract: No other field of medicine is as strongly associated with art as anatomy. This is largely due to the fact that their focus is on the human body and on its structure. Anatomical treatises, atlases, textbooks, etc., use a large number of illustrations, which also contributes to their close relation. Anatomy books have always relied on the involvement of artists to make the necessary illustrations. Furthermore, anatomical editions serve for training not only future doctors but also future artists.
