Summary/Abstract: The article explores both the difference and the deep connection between style and genre in music education. Even though many people think the two words mean the same, students in music classes have to understand how genre and style merge into one another and how every one of them relates to the other. When this is understood, music and the another arts can take their real place in students' minds as parts of the world.
