Summary/Abstract: The report examines special education in Denmark, which covers only 13.0% of Children with Special Educational needs. The policy is based on three main principles – nominalization, decentralization and integration. The special legislation is based on the UNESCO concept of „Education for All“, which confirms the idea that education in the country is compulsory from the age of seven to sixteen. We should note that special education in Denmark is completely free and a large part is financed by the state.
