Summary/Abstract: The parliamentary elections in Poland were held on October 15, 2023, combined with nationwide referendum. Many experts pointed out the need for necessary changes to the Electoral Code even prior to the elections. The most important were: elimination of votes inequalities in some electoral districts to the Sejm and restoration of postal voting for Polish citizens staying abroad. Unfortunately, these changes were not introduced to the electoral law by the Polish lawmaker. The aim of this paper is to answer the questions: How did that affect the electoral process and final results of the elections? And how to prevent these threats in the future?
