Summary/Abstract: In middle and high schools, the process of creating and giving presentations is hardly taken seriously, as pupils read (mostly) everything from slides and just copy and paste the information from certain websites. When they get enrolled into a BA/BS programme, they may face challenges related to how a slide should look and how to present a topic in front of an audience. Hence, besides developing students` English language skills another aim was to train learners to get rid of how they used to present their projects while they were pupils and move to the way an academic presentation should look like and be delivered—this way they will also get trained for the moment when they will have to prepare for the BA/BS thesis defence—, and also to ask students to assess their own and other peers` performances, either verbally or by filling in assessment grids.
