Cognitive Reflections on the Sentence. Subject and Person in Syntax

Summary/Abstract: The relation between the person and the action in the predication is equal. This is the cognitive formula for defining the main parts in the sentence – equal, analogous in relation. The category ‛person’ is characterized: lexico-semantic, mophological and syntactic. The lexical-semantic presentation of the category `person’ is the personal pronoun. Its morphological presentation belongs to the verb. Its syntactic referencing dissolves into predication. Cognitive fit overcomes the contradiction and revises the definition of the sayable.
