Summary/Abstract: The “Around us a Sea of Fire” exhibition is the most important exhibition about the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising in recent years. Stripped of pathos and pomp, it looks at the fate of ordinary people who decided to survive hell at any cost. It allows us touch their experience and creates conditions for contemporaries to understand what people are capable of. Both the one that kills and the one that tries to survive.
