THE KASTRIOTI FAMILY AND RAGUSA

Summary/Abstract: In this paper the focus of the research are the relations of Kastrioti family with the Republic of Ragusa. Mainly, we were focused on Scanderbeg's period, because during this time there is a greater intensity of relations, and from the other part they are better recorded, nonetheless the relations of Kastrioti family with Ragusa begin since the time of Gjon Kastrioti. On other earlier relations, we do not have any data. This research is divided in some parts, also more detailed are the diplomatic and economic-trade questions. This research is mainly based on archival documents, but except them, are also taken into consideration different studies.
